We have a vast range of music to suit virtually any occasion and all ages. Although our speciality is the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, our collection ranges from the 1950’s through to the current date – we are always up to date with current trends and ensure that we have the current top 20 available to play if required. In total we now have over 50,000 songs to choose from – a collection that has been built up over more than 30 years.

Apart from obvious Pop, Dance and Party Classics, we also have a remarkably comprehensive selection of other genres, covering all bases from Disco, Club Classics, Soul, Motown, Stax and Northern soul, through R&B, Reggae, Ska, Punk & New Wave, Indie, New Romantic & Electro-pop and Rock, Blues and Heavy Metal. We are happy to theme a party based round certain types of music and in the past have produced Glam Rock, Tropical, Latin and Christmas parties, amongst others.

We welcome and even encourage requests from both you and your guests – after all it is your party and above all we want to play what you want to hear. Ideally we prefer to have the requests from you in advance of the event to ensure we have the correct songs available. If, in the unlikely event, we don’t have your particular favourites, we then will do our utmost to source them in time for the big day. This will also allow us to sequence them suitably into a playlist in line with the mood of the evening. We supply a request form with your written contract to make this process easier for you.

We are also happy to accept requests from your guests on the evening. Obviously it is impossible for us to guarantee to be able to play everything requested of us – despite our significant music library, literally millions of songs have been recorded and there are bound to be occasions when we don’t have one of your guests’ favourite.
 

However, in our experience we have the vast majority of all requests made of us so we are nearly always able to keep your guests happy.

There are a couple of provisos we would make with requests made on the evening, however. We will do our best to play what is requested within limits, but we will not spoil the evening for all the other guests just because someone wants to hear their favourite song being played loud! We recently had an experience at 70th birthday party where a youngster in his early teens wanted to hear Metallica! As you can imagine, we politely declined to play it on this occasion (even though we actually had the requested piece of music in our library). Also we will not replay a song that has already been played on the evening, unless specifically requested by the host or hostess.
