Despite the perception that you have to be a great a singer like Pavarotti or Katherine Jenkins, in actual fact anyone can get up and perform and receive a huge round of applause. It really isn’t about musical ability, but joining in and having a really good time. Sometimes the worst singers actually get the best response!

We often hear comments from guests that they would never have the courage to get up and sing in front of an audience and we quite understand this reticence. However, if you do get a little nervous, we recommend joining in with a small group to perform together. This way no-one is singled out and creates a tremendous team spirit. Normally, after getting over their initial qualms, we find those same people are actually keen to get back on stage time after time. There is also no need to worry about being drowned out if you are performing with stronger singers as we are able to move voices up or down in the mix as appropriate. We can also adjust the pitch and key in which the music is played if the default doesn’t suit your voice.

Klassic Karaoke can be set up in very small or large spaces, as the event dictates. We can comfortably operate in a someone’s living room, the bar of a small pub or equally well in a hall or function suite. As with our discos, we have equipment to pretty much meet every eventuality and simply scale it to the venue and your requirements.

Karaoke nights can be as simple as just a monitor on which to show the lyrics and a set of microphones and speakers to play the music through or can be dressed up to make it a real event, with stage lighting, star cloth backdrops, screens for the audience and haze to bring the lighting to life. We commonly supply two wireless microphones for an evening but have up to four wireless and four corded microphones available at any time. Why not try a “Stars in Your Eyes” evening and ask your guests to dress up as their favourite stars and then perform their hits?

We are happy to provide karaoke for all ages, we have had singers as young as 6 years old taking part – the only requirement being that they are able to read the lyrics off the screen and know the tune!

Klassic Karaoke can be supplied as a standalone event or be included as an added dimension to a disco. One other side benefit of a holding a karaoke evening is that, dependent upon set-up, it can be a more cost-effective way of providing entertainment for your guests. And if you don’t want one of our karaoke hosts to be there or you fancy becoming the host yourself, we offer the option of simply hiring karaoke equipment and discs from our hire section.
 

Our library consists of well over 6,000 songs in a huge range of different styles and eras running from the 1950s through to current chart hits and we are adding to it all the time. And let’s not forget the King – we carry a huge range of Elvis songs including the almost legendary 27 CD set of Velvet Elvis recordings covering virtually every song he performed both on record and live.

All of our music is available at the click of a mouse due to state of the art software and is also categorised by genre as well as song title and artist. It is therefore easy for us to theme the evening around a specific style if you so wish. We have extensive collections of Country, Rock, Indie, Movie Soundtracks and Showtunes along with a wide range of Standards and Irish themed music. We even carry a selection of old-time party singalongs.
