BATTERY POWERED PA & PARTY SPEAKERS Increasingly we are asked for PA systems that can be run where getting power is either difficult to source or is non-existent. We have therefore developed a rental range of battery powered PA and lighting equipment, enabling you to take a party or PA for a ceremony or an event to locations where it would have been previously impossible. The systems don’t necessarily need to be used outdoors, either. They can be run in situations where they are easier to set up and take down rapidly and avoid any trailing cables. Below we offer systems in different categories and price ranges to suit all types of events and pockets. Some are also weatherproofed, enabling them to be used in drizzle or even light rain (see individual entries for further details). Apart from our budget system, all of these are professional standard equipment, offering high quality sound.

Small Portable PA Package This compact battery powered package is ideal to provide low-level music
for a barbecue, garden party or children’s party, or public address for a
small fete or product launch, where an electrical supply isn’t readily
available. It comprises a single 12” 100w powered speaker on wheels with a
convenient retractable trolley handle to make it easily transportable. It
includes two wireless microphones which connect to an inbuilt receiver in
the speaker and an inbuilt MP3 player which accepts either SD cards or USB
memory sticks. The MP3 player can also be operated by the enclosed remote
control. The battery will run for up to 8 hours on a single charge
(dependent upon usage and volume levels), easily long enough to cope with

Outdoor Ceremony, Events & Background Music PA Package This system is suitable to cover an audience of approx 100 to 150 people seated within about a 75 foot proximity, either outside or in a marquee. It has a battery life of up to 12 hours on a single charge and has a reliable Bluetooth 5 receiver allowing you to stream music from any portable device within a similar or even longer range. It is weatherized so it can be used outside in drizzle or a light shower so there is no need for concern – the show will go on! With the addition of an optional wireless microphone system the system can be used at a wedding ceremony for an officiant and or reader, all without the need for external power. The speaker is available in white, making ideal in a wedding setting, as well as more traditional black. The package includes:

Large Outdoor Ceremony or Events PA Package Using two of the speakers found in the above system, this will cover an audience of approximately double that of the above over a much wider area. Natively the system is supplied with a single wireless microphone but can be extended to a dual system for a small supplement. In-built Bluetooth connections can link the two speakers wirelessly at up to 100 feet when playing streamed music or a single provided cable can link the speakers for all sound output when using wireless microphones or a secondary music input. Optionally we can also provide a UHF link for total wireless connection of the speakers. The package includes:

These PA packages allow for live performance from a solo performer or an acoustic duo, right up to a small band to play wherever they want, without the need for external power source. They come in two sizes, an 8” version suitable for a solo performer or acoustic duo, and a larger 12” driver version, which goes both louder and deeper, making it suitable for a larger band or a performer requiring more bottom end, such

Outdoor Party PA Package
Looking to have a party in a field or an afterparty after a wedding when you need to setup quickly and easily and without needing to run any power? Then this is the system for you. The speaker in this system is the big brother of the speakers used in the above packages but it has an extended battery life and is able to go both louder and deeper, making it ideal to dance to. It has excellent on-board Bluetooth to stream music from a phone, tablet or laptop. Alternatively, you can also plug in using the supplied 3.5mm jack, if streaming is not your thing. It is also weatherized in streaming mode allowing it to be used in drizzle or light rain so you don’t need to worry about the elements! If you really want to ramp things up, why not add a second speaker for truly immersive sound, and which can be linked to wirelessly to the first system by Bluetooth, creating a stereo pair. Premium Portable PA Package If you are looking for the optimum in quality and flexibility for speeches, presentations or music at a background or medium level, the award winning Sennheiser LSP 500 PRO system is widely regarded as the finest available. It is a portable PA system that is modular and can be expanded to suit events of any size – both inside or outside – without the need for any sort of cabling, due to it being both battery powered, wirelessly connected and Bluetooth enabled. As standard it is supplied as a single standalone speaker with a premium quality wireless microphone – either handheld or lapel style. If you require further microphones we can add up two more systems to this without the need for an external mixing desk. You can also connect a music source, either wirelessly via Bluetooth, via a USB stick using the inbuilt mp3 player or via a supplied cable. In this configuration it is suitable to cover audiences of up to 80 to 100 people indoors in a small to medium size venue and 60 outdoors. If you have a bigger audience where the guests are located in different rooms or spread over a wide area, such as a garden party or fete, a second speaker can be added. This connects to the master system wirelessly – it simply needs to be switched on and will connect automatically to extended your coverage. For even larger events you can simultaneously connect up to 20 systems giving you the ability to supply a conference, awards ceremony or reception in a large venue over a wide area without the need for anything more than occasionally positioned discreet speakers. Unlike a conventional PA system they are very easy and quick to setup and derig after the event. You can even remotely control the levels, EQ and delay on each speaker individually via a free iPad ap. Each system is supplied with a rugged acoustically transparent cover that can be left on during outdoor events making the speakers water resistant through a light shower (but not a downpour). They have a battery life of up to 8 hours on the supplied pair of batteries, but as these are hot-swappable, renting additional batteries gives them an effectively unlimited life.

This is a compact portable PA solution with real pro-audio performance. It is capable of running off a built-in rechargeable battery for up to 12 hours (at 96db) and 6 hours at full volume (121db), and offers wide, even 100º x 100º coverage.
