Silver Pines Sound & Light was
originally created to play the hits of yesteryear and bring back musical
memories of those times to like-minded people. However it didn’t take us
long to realise that people of all ages want to listen to music from all
eras, and although still majoring on those classic years, we
comprehensively cover all of the last six decades, right up to current
chart hits.
A mobile disco based in North West Kent and serving the
Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells,
Orpington, Bromley, Maidstone, Dartford,
Swanley, Edenbridge, Westerham and surrounding villages
& the Kent/Surrey Borders, we still specialise in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s
because of the cracking music that was created during this era which, in
our opinion will never be surpassed – and because these were the sounds we
grew up listening to and enjoy playing the most!
Our DJs are not the fast talking wise cracking ones found on the radio,
nor the mixing and scratching types found in clubs, but we know how to get
a crowd onto the dance floor and make the evening swing. It is our aim to
create a real party atmosphere and give every one attending one of our
discos an experience they won’t forget.
Below we give a brief résumé of the various aspects and elements of our

 We
are comfortable playing in venues of all sizes – from someone’s home to a
large hall, function room or marquee – we will simply tailor our
performance and equipment accordingly. From the initial contact with us,
right up to the actual day we consult fully with you to make sure we offer
exactly the right level of service to fit in with your arrangements. Our
emphasis is on you, the client, and your event – be it a birthday party,
anniversary, wedding reception, corporate or charity function or any other
special occasion.
 We
have an extensive music library of in excess of 50,000 songs. ranging from
the 1950’s to the present day. Although we are particularly strong on the
hits of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, we also have a very good selection of
more contemporary music which makes for an excellent party mix. We also
have an extensive range of rock and indie music for more eclectic
occasions.
We are very happy to accept requests, both in advance and on the night.
After all it is your party and we want to be sure that we play the music
that you want to hear. Sample playlists from recent events are available
on the site, to give you a feel of the breadth of music we able to offer.
 Our
strong focus on customer service means that we can offer entertainment for
your Wedding that is hard to surpass. We consult with Brides & Grooms
extensively up to their Wedding Day to ensure that we get everything just
right. We also have a full range of options to add the special touches
that will make your evening reception truly memorable.
 Klassic
Karaoke is all about having fun and that is what we deliver in spades. We
offer a top quality karaoke experience for singers from all age groups and
all levels of experience and ability. Available in all size venues and in
basic screen, microphones and speakers format to a full on stage
experience we can give your party a truly unique feel. Over 6,000 songs
featuring all major artists from the last six decades, means that we will
almost certainly have your favourites to sing. We can also deliver themed
evenings of Country, Rock, Indie, Movie and Showtunes, as well as
extensive ranges from the all time Karaoke favourite, Elvis Presley.
Klassic Karaoke is available as a standalone evening, as an add on to a
disco, or on a do it yourself hire basis.

 We
pride ourselves on our top quality equipment from the sound system through
lighting and effects. We have an exceptional range of professional
lighting – most of which are intelligent fixtures allowing us to
pre-program, control and synchronise them using a computerised lighting
system. We can produce almost whatever feel you want for your event from
subtle and understated to dramatic and spectacular.
 Mood uplighting is an impressive and cost effective way to transform even
the most modest of venues. We can wash a room with LED fixtures with an
almost unlimited colour palette, matching your desired colour scheme. In
addition we can also supply dramatic starcloth backdrops and illuminated
dance-floors to add even further glitz.
 Our charges are dependent upon many factors – size of venue and number of
guests, length of time we will be required to perform, the type of show
you wish us to provide and the distance we have to travel. We are happy to
provide you with a quote customised to your specific needs. We are
unlikely to be the cheapest disco you will find, but we believe that for
the quality of entertainment we provide, The Really Old Skool Disco still
provides exceptional value for money.

you have your own DJ, want just odd pieces of equipment such as speakers,
a CD player, a few lights or a smoke machine to liven up a party,or
simply want to have a go at being a superstar behind the decks, then we
have the gear you need to hire.
We offer good value packages and individual items on daily, weekend and
weekly hire. All equipment is in top quality condition, regularly
inspected and fully safety tested. Equipment can either be collected from
our offices or we will deliver for a modest fee. Instruction on how to
operate the equipment is given and full instruction manuals are available
to download through links on our website. For those who want an easy
solution, we also offer a delivery, setup and tear down service.
